Meet Dr. Karisa Walsh

Dr. Karisa founded Viva Family chiropractic with a simple mission shared by many: make Saint Louis Park a healthier community. What most people don’t realize is that potential already lives inside all of us. Through chiropractic, Dr. Karisa taps into innate healing power of the human body and hopes to share this understanding of health with as many people as possible.

Meet Dr. Taylor Beery

From the moment she started, Dr. Taylor quickly connected with Viva’s mission and sense of community. Since childhood, she has been driven by a passion to listen, empower, and educate individuals about their body's innate abilities, a commitment that grew from facing her own health challenges. Dr. Taylor brings her empathy and expertise to patients in every stage of life – especially children. When she’s away from work, you may find Dr. Taylor hanging out with her llama, reading a good book or finding a new spot to hike.

Meet Kari

As Viva’s office manager, Kari wears many hats to serve our patients. She performs health scans. She holds babies. She schedules patients while holding babies. She’s the friendly face at the front desk that makes every visit to Viva a joy for the whole family. As a mother herself, Kari has seen the benefits of chiropractic in her family and loves bringing that experience to others. The added bonus of interacting with the patients of all sizes makes it all the better.

Meet Sydney

Sydney is a chiropractic assistant at Viva. When she’s not running our social media account or entertaining kiddos at the office, Sydney is studying to become a chiropractor herself! After a month at Viva, she knew this was the path for her. She loves seeing the power of balanced nervous system in our patients and has experienced it for herself since she was a toddler with ear infections. We’re excited to see Sydney grow into a doctor of chiropractic in the years ahead.

Healthier communities start with our little ones.

Our chiropractors specializes in pregnancy and pediatrics because she knows this is a time when her care can make the greatest impact. Giving kids a healthy foundation early on will help them avoid issues down the road. And nothing brings a smile to her face like a happy, healthy baby.

A dose of good energy goes a long way.

Soothing lavender diffuses. Feel-good music softly plays. Maybe kiddos are coloring away in the play area. Or our office manager, Kari, gently rocks a baby while mom gets adjusted. That’s the scene any given day at Viva. As much as we want to adjust and get you on your way, our space is meant to be a relaxing break from the everyday.

Community support doesn’t stop in our office.

You’ll find us out and about volunteering with parent and childbirth groups, attending business council meetings, or setting up shop at Parktacular and other community events. We see it as our responsibility to help make this a better place any way we can.
